This recognizes the extraordinary services of Dermot Buckley. We were a party of four adults (one with a cast on her leg) that Dermot drove around Ireland for two weeks. He added immeasurably to the sucess of our trip. First, in his role as a driver, he was efficient, knowledge and conscious first and always for our safety. Irish roads often left a bit to be desired, and he navigated them without incident thruout the two weeks.

Second, he added a great menu of opportunities daily. We had planned our trip carefully and had a good idea as to what we wanted to do and see. Dermot offered each morning a game plan for the day that included all of our ideas and then offered several others that could be worked into the day because of his depth knowledge of his homeland. Each day was played out with a great combination of planned and impulse events or places that we encountered.

Lastly, Dermot was an endless source of historical context, answers to our endless questions and even personal suggestions for us to consider. He never tried to insist we do things, only to offer a menu from which we could fill the day. He suggested ideas as to sights, pubs and restaurants and soon grew to know our tastes and expectations.

All in all, I recommend Dermot Buckley highly as a proud Irish driver. His integrity, work ethic and performance causes me to offer this testimonial without reservation and there is no doubt that I will call Dermot when we return to Ireland.

We would like to thank you for a truly wonderful vacation. Our trip to Ireland was fabulous because you planned every detail from the roads we traveled on, to the restaurant we dined in, right down to the beautiful views we had from our many hotel rooms. We especially want to thank you for making the trip not only memorable for us but also for our six year old daughter, Kate.

Our driver, Paul, was brilliant! He not only drove us safely through the winding roads (and boy do they wind) of Ireland but taught us about Irish history all along the way. He was a wealth of knowledge and patiently answered all of our questions. Paul was sensitive to all of our needs and made Kate feel like a fairy princess. It's hard to make a trip interesting for a young child who is either strapped into a car seat for many hours or touring a 12th century church but Paul certainly succeeded in doing so. By the end of the trip you would have thought Paul was Kate's long lost Irish uncle! And ours too for that matter.

This was our first experience in hiring a chauffeur service and as the trip drew near both my husband and I experienced some trepidation. I am happy to say that any fears we had harbored were all for naught. Your attention to the smallest of details and Paul's professional but warm work ethics allowed us to completely relax and enjoy our vacation. We would not dared to have hoped for a perfect trip and yet that is exactly what we got. Our expectations were greatly exceeded and we would not hesitate to recommend your services to anyone traveling to Ireland. As a matter of fact, my parents are planning their trip with you as I write this.

Thanks ever so much for your time and talent, I really enjoyed all the little side trips of the itinerary. My favorite story was the leprechaun sighting, my favorite place was the picnic site, favorite entertainment you my friend. Ireland is beautiful, the scenery,people,& places will be forever in my heart. You have truly spoiled us for any other tour we will ever take. No one could think ahead as you and plan behind the scenes so flawlessly. Everything you've chosen for us to do has been awesome, suited to our special needs.

There isn't a thing we would take back from the trip, we never had to think or wonder just go along for the ride, that was my fondest hope when I first dreamed of bringing my Dad to Ireland ( besides finding somebody to answer his endless questions ) we could sit back and take it all in. We sit here writing this letter totally overwhelmed and in awe of your presentation of your precious country. What a place to be proud of and you show it with every breath. Our trip has been so grand that words cannot describe it.

We were together almost a week, and toured towns, cities, villages and the countryside. Our travels each day were enriched by his suggestions, knowledge of the road and the adventures we had would never be found in any tour book.
